Whether you're hauling heavy loads in your bed or cargo area or you're towing a trailer, you will often see the rear of your vehicle sag while the front end rises. In these cases, the rear axle is handling not only the weight of the cargo, but also more of the vehicle's weight. Because less weight is on the front axle, the front tires are making less contact with the road. Overall handling - traction, steering, and braking - is negatively affected. But the resistance from Timbren's Suspension Enhancement System works with your factory suspension to keep your vehicle level and improve your driving experience.
The Timbren system comes with custom-fit brackets that are bolted onto each frame rail above the rear axle. Hollow rubber springs are bolted to the bottom of the bracket and hang down to where the bottom of the spring sits, 1" above the axle. The inch of clearance allows the existing factory suspension to operate normally under light loads and standard terrain, ensuring the smooth, comfortable ride that you are used to.
Timbren Suspension Enhancement Systems are designed to work progressively. When the hollow rubber springs are compressed, the convoluted design causes them to quickly collapse along the folds. Once the folds are compacted, the stacked barrel shape increases resistance, stiffening the suspension and keeping your vehicle level.
Each hollow rubber spring works independently to support the driver's side or passenger's side of your vehicle. This is helpful when you swerve or make sharp turns. Each spring is activated when it is needed, so body roll is greatly reduced. The independent action also works well when you are hauling off-center loads.
Because the vehicle handles better with the springs, less turbulence will be passed along to the trailer, and this helps to keep the trailer in line. Your driving comfort is further enhanced if the trailer does begin to sway (from a gust of wind or a passing semi), because the movement from the trailer is not transferred to your vehicle. This also works to make the sway subside more quickly.
Another great feature of the rubber construction is that the springs absorb most of the road shock, creating a smoother, more stable ride overall when loaded. Wear and tear on the factory suspension is also lessened because the rubber springs work to prevent bottoming out on rough roads.
Timbren's Suspension Enhancement Systems are much easier to install than air springs - there are no air hoses to run, no compressors or gauges to hook up, and no manual adjustments to make. The rubber construction makes Timbren's springs more elastic than similar products constructed of microcellular urethane. And more elasticity allows for a more comfortable ride when loaded or towing because the rubber has more travel.
I installed the Timbren Rear Suspension Enhancement System (TFR1504D) on my 2010 Ford F-150 XLT and it is awesome. It took me 45 minutes to install, only because I had to uninstall the first one to add the 1" spacer to bring it into a better spacing from the rear axle.Took it for test drive and it still drives the same as before (as advertised). Can't wait to load it up with the trailer to see the difference from the stock bumper stops. This product installed as easy as the video that shows how to do the install.

I opted for the heavier duty model and it was a bit too stiff. By removing the included spacer, it smoothed out fine. Thanks for fast delivery on the original order.
Awesome product! Really gave me the control and support my truck for pulling my 7x12 dual axel trailer. There was very little squat, it was a bit harsh on the bumps, but manageable. I would definitely recommend and buy again.

Brought these a year ago. This is my second truck that I have purchased them for. Still highly recommend them, no issues at all.
Ordered these to help with truck sag when pulling travel trailer works good for that but the ride is atrocious. It hits so hard it’s like u have no suspension, when u hit a bump it’s like you hit concrete with a hammer. Also thought it would help with truck all over , doesn’t. Great idea but feel like it’s made of to hard of a material. Customer service was great thou. On new ram 1500.
Easy to install and work great. They have helped my suspension and overall ride when towing, no more bottoming out at the rear axle.

Solved sag issue. On hard bumps when unloaded, you will feel a harsh response but that’s a small
Trade off Get em. Install em. And resume your tows sag free
Been using timbres for probably twenty years on large trucks to 3/4 tons great products work how they say they do, never had a problem with them
Did exactly what I wanted, the old bump stops just almost fell out when I touched them. Some soapy water and a couple of wiggles and these were in. I tow a a big boat for long distance fairly often and just wanted to firm up the rear-end a bit. The big surprise is how much better the RAM corners with these installed. I highly recommend as of now, need to go fishing and see if they make me happy for long distances.

Driving empty is a little harsh/rough. They sit about 1" away from the axle empty and I think hitting bumps and they come in contact with the axle is where the jolt is.
Can’t beat it for the price! While towing my fifth wheel, excellent handling, much smoother ride over bumps and reduces sagging. When not towing you have your factory comfortable ride. A fraction of the cost of air bags and hassle free. Set it and forget it. Highly recommend!
I pull 34 ft fifth wheel trailer and 16 ft fishing boat behind pick up. I don’t have the sway or bounce as before. Glad I installed. Helped stop the bounce between three unites when you go over rough road.
Bought the Timbren Vehicle Suspension Enhancement System for my Ram 1500 hoping it would provide more stability and less sag when pulling my travel trailer. Installed in less than 15 minutes and works great! Definately reduced most of the sag and can feel more stability when towing. It does make the ride a little more stiff, but it accomplished what I was looking for. Definately recommend this product.
I install these to eliminate the sag when I hook up my cargo trailer. Some people say The back end bounces when empty. I haven't had that problem, if anything the ride seems better. I don't get that dribble effect going over close bumps as bad as before I installed the timbrens. I installed them on a 2022 toyota tundra.
The product was definitely high quality but it did not resolve sagging issue as suggested. It would be nearly impossible for the truck to sag far enough for these to make contact with the axle. Very expensive no fix.

Don't do a lot of towing or hauling with vehicle it is installed on, but when weight has been added it really gives truck a more sturdy secure feel. Improved stance with no load. Happy with purchase.
